Monterey County Seal
The Monterey County Oral Health Program is seeking volunteer dental professionals to screen kindergarteners and first-graders and link them to dental care services. The goal of this effort is to promote a “dental home” with families and detect untreated tooth decay among young age children.

The ADA is continuing to recruit a cohort of dentists to volunteer to serve on a new initiative called the Wellness Ambassador Program, in which volunteers will ensure that peer dentists struggling with mental health obstacles are aware of support services.
